Ie 6

Well, I have browsed through these postings and searched on IE 6 and I see various opinions about IE 6. I am running Win2Kpro and IE 5.5 sp2 with no problems. I tend to leave things alone until the bugs are worked out. IE 6 has been out awhile. What are some opinions of IE6 vs. IE5.5 running Win2kPro?
Thanks

Oh, see the spellchecker has gone the way of other sites. Since I am typing impaired, I just type the note in Word and run the spell checker there and paste here. You should see an e-mail I sent from work a few years ago where I misspelled warehouse as whorehouse. I still got that one sent back to me every year before I retired.
Thanks

rletter,

You are wise to search first gather the varied and many opinions, and then post the question you have just posted in order to make the decision.

I'm sure in you reading and searching here you have noticed many others were not thinking as you have here and therefore taken the IE6.0 plunge and then asked the questions.

IMHO, I see nothing about IE6.0 that I like to have, or need to have and it is just too XPee for my liking.
I needed only to ask myself "what do I hope to gain with IE6.0?"
The answer for me was simple.

I'm sure you will get varied views on the "should you should you not" question mine is only one view and everyone is entitled to their own.

For a duck your logic is impecable......I agree the benefits do not outway the possible result of disrupting a stable system.
Candy would say...........If it ain't broke don't fix it!
