One of my computers is running Windows XP Home Edition using IE6 browser. In the past, I have always been able to get to "Internet Options" from the "Tools" tab. Now for some reason, every time I attempt to access "Internet Options", a "Restriction" message appears saying "The operation has been cancelled due to restrictions on this computer. Please contact your system administrator". Occassionally, I will allow other people to use the computer and I have no restrictions on it. When it was originally set up, I allowed full access to the computer to whomever uses it, and for simplicity, I would like it to remain that way. I assume I have inadvertantly made whatever change has prevented access to "internet options", but I don't know how to change it back again. Any help will be great. Thanks & Happy New year.

First of all, I suggest you upgrade to IE7 or FireFox.

Do you have only 1 account for the computer? or are there multiple user logins?

Do you have Spybot S&D? If you do, there are settings under 'Tools/IE Tweaks/Miscellaneous locks' which will prevent changes being made to some aspects of IE.
