the pop-out pictures on left during hover is distracting. And the text color on the nav bar blends in too well with the background (at least for my eyes it does).
Other than that, good job.

Which tables are you talking about?I think you should fancy up your tables more. Just the basic black and white doesn't look too professional. Maybe a combination of greys. Or, your choice. In any case, good luck.
I had a look at this and agree, so I changed it a little so that the hover of the four thumbnails now hovers in the same place. Please have a look and let me know if you think it looks better. The pop out pictures don't really bother me but I don't get why some are in different positions than others.
Do you think this is because the text is too small, the bold or because I am using small caps? The "Pre Reception to A Level" text renders badly.
I will probably change the menu once the rest of the site is complete. The whole site will be made up of 6 sections: About Us, Junior Phase, Senior Phase etc. Each section has a different background. The about us section has that dark purple background, the Junior section will have a blue back ground and so on. Because of the different colour back grounds, I thought gray would be the most neutral. The menu I plan on using will probably just be white with drop down boxes.Personally not a big fan of the menu bar - grey with light-grey box on hover.
How could one do this? Would you use javascript?Photo pop-ups aren't annoying to me, but perhaps you could look into a tick-box to turn this feature off, if people want to. Could be fairly simple, but as I say, I don't mind it.
