Hi everyone
I've been fighting this one for a while. Here's what I've got.
IBM Thinkpad 390E. Ran fdisk, reformatted, and am trying to load win98. When I start up with the boot disk, it looks for the cdrom drive to load the driver but says there is no drive.

The drive is a cd/floppy combo and I tried it in another 390E and it works fine.
The only place in the bios that shows the cd drive is where you select what order you want the machine to boot.
The driver that's trying to load is Oakcdrom.sys

I've heard about cdgod55 that has a lot of cd drivers on it, but I'm not sure how to run it.

I even tried to boot up with my winxp cd just to see if it would recognize it but no go.

Any help with this is appreciated.

Anyone solving this I will owe you for the rest of my life.:D
