I am trying to upgrade my IBM Netvista A40p Intel 815 6649-PAU to allow me to boot from the CD drive first.
I flashed the BIO with the latest IBM offered but it does not give me the option of setting the Boot Sequence.

I do not have an operating system on my new hard drive. I do have a Win98 boot disk but it brings me to a DOS boot.

What can I do?

It should be there.. It is usually located in the....

"Start Options" from the main Configuration/Setup Utility.

Unless.... your CD Drive is defective and not detected by the BIOS.
