I was able to remove it before but I cannot find anything in my searching to get rid of this latest addition. I hate it !

Disable Google Lens in Chrome

1. Open a new tab (Ctrl + T).
2. Click in the URL box and type the following: chrome://flags/#enable-lens-overlay, then hit Enter.
3. On the next page, to the right of Enable Lens Overlay option, select Disabled from the drop-down menu.
4. Finally, click on the Relaunch button at the bottom to apply the change

 

Been there done that....that is not working any more with latest .....chrome browser has nothing in settings to disable.
