I need to copy files from here (photo attached) to my hard drive using a batch file. For each and everyday that I come in I have to copy the R01 file from the day before. (experience little to none)
Please help!

Even though it appears you're having the same problem, please start a new thread when you have a new issue. It's very difficult to keep two problems straight and who's working on what in a single thread.

Does the file always have the same name? Are there any other R01**** files in the folder?

I'll assume it's the only one. I'm assuming the destination folder is C:\SAVE, you can modify it to anything you like.

copy "R:\FB5806\27\r01*.txt c:\save"

You can automate this task by using Scheduled Tasks.

In Windows 2000 it's Start> Programs> Accessories> System Tools> Scheduled Tasks
