I need Help Using my Windows Media Center 2004. Hi, guys i am new to this forum! well i bought a gateway media center, and it has O/S Windows Media Center 2004. It came with a infrared receiver, and remote. But i don't know how to watch tv on my computer. What do i do to connect my cable tv to my pc? Do i have to buy a tv in or out? oh by the way my tuner card is called Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI.

You should be able to plug your cable right into your tv tuner card. I dont' have the same one but it should have a spot for coaxial cable input. If you get a splitter for your coaxial cable to split it between your cable router ( modem) and your tv tuner card make sure you get one that is bidirectional.
