Hello there,
This is my problem, on our network we have desktop and notebook computers, we have static IP address's assigned to each machine. Every now and then the notebook users will the computers home to work and whenever they want to connect to the internet they login locally as the admin and change the IP settings to auto then when they bring it back to work I have to set the IP address’s all over again.
Is there anything I can do to make sure they can connect at work with the IP and at home using dhcp?
Thanks

don't use static IPs? ;-P

or in XP, you have an option in the properties of a nic to specify an "alternate configuration"... perhaps put their work settings in one, and their home setting on the other.

personally... I'd tell the users that if they take their laptop home and "break it", then they are screwed...
