I can't get Irfanview to read pdf files

I have installed Ghost and gone to the Irfanview website to get the latest version of Irfanview. I continue to get the same error message no matter what I do. It says:

Can't load Ghostscript. If Ghostscript is not installed, please install the 64-bit version.

I have. I have go to Irfanview and load the PDF.dll file. The list of all installed plugins shows the pdf.dll file.

I don't know what to do next.

If you need a free app for opening and viewing PDF files, why don't you obtain and install
Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2019.008.20081

Should work ....
My list of 64bit installed shows Postscript.dll and pdf.dll ... No Ghostscript ????

How are you opening pdf in IV ???
I Right-Click and "Open with" when needed.

The reason I also have 32bit IV installed ... Is to run my scanner ... no 64B Twain in IV

What's your OS ???
This may be a problem between W7 <> W10 ... (I'm usingW7) ... and 64B <> 32B
