I have created 2 .html pages:

C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\My web\HomePage.html.
and
C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\My web\LatestNews.html

I’m in the HomePage.html Notepad file. I want to create a link in HomePage that takes me back to the LatestNews, so I’ve typed the following message into HomePage Notepad:

Latest News

(Note TechSupport Guy keeps converting my A HREF text into a hyperlink to Latest News so I can't tell you what I typed!)

PROBLEM: Effect when file viewed in Internet Explorer is that the words ‘Latest News' are underlined as if they have a link attached to them, but when I click on that link I am not taken to the ‘Latest News’ screen.

WHAT I’VE TRIED WITHOUT SUCCESS:
1. Recording full file name between inverted commas.
2. Entering a # after the 1st inverted commas.

I attached an example. You'll need to Right click on the attachment link and select "Save Target As". Then open it on your PC with Wordpad or Notepad to see the code.

Or just click on this link to see the code
