I have an HP Pavillion DV6000 running Vista (of course). It is 2 yrs old and has worked perfectly until about 3 weeks ago when my wireless suddenly stopped working. I finally decided the netcard was bad and purchased a USB network card (which works). However, two days about purchasing the USB my Wireless Assistant on my laptop (network card) started working again, ... then it stopped, and then started again and seemed to be fine for several days. But, alas, it has stopped again. I noticed there were several posts in Sept 2007 on the same problem. One solution was to plug the network card and reseat. I'm OK with opening my desktop PC and working on it and I did open my old HP laptop to replace the keyboard once, but I cannot figure out how to get to the network card on this PC. Do you have any advice? ... please.
