I have problem with my HP Photosmart 8150. The printer works perfectly but, when connected via USB (does not matter front or rear) the system hang up during startup, just after bios screen and before windows startup screen.
The only thing I can do now is disconnecting USB cable of the printer (or switching it off), before switching on the PC and plug it in after startup is done, and windows login screen appears. This problem perssists since the printer was first installed and concerns the printer only. It happens even after driver uninstalling now - when USB is just plugged in. I've got scanner connected via USB and switched on permanently and it's OK.
Thank everyone for advice how to solve the problem.
