I recently installed Debian 12 Cinnamon on my PC. I've been searching for a way to auto login after I boot and can't find anything that shows how to do it? Also, how can I turn off the start up screen showing all the the filles that load during boot?
Thanks in advance

Again, I am not a Linux user so I can only do so much :)

Having said that, since this seems to be a specialized thing, I would recommend using the Debian forums that may have the information that you need. Debian User Forums - Index page

This thread shows the poster using something called xfce and lightdm to complete an auto login.

Perhaps this can assist you? on the same forum, this thread seems to have the same issue and seemed to be resolved:
[ SOLVED ] Enable autologin on xfce - Debian User Forums (see post #3 to see if that helps?)

Thanks Couriant for your reply. I'll try this out.
