I wish to write a VB.NET database manipulating program on my XP machine, but I want to run it on a different machine which only has windows 98. What do I need to do to ensure the program will run correctly? THe win 98 machine has the .NET framework installed.

That page is for VS2003, i am using VS2002, it still doesn't mention whats needed to run the programs created with the package

I never heard of W98 running VS.NET any version. W98 can run .NET apps like aspx for sure in a Web browser. It's transparent to the end user.

.NET framework is for running .NET apps locally on the harddisk.
