I bought a thermal label printer and thermal labels last week to use for printing address labels.

I have read a lot of tutorials on the internet for printing address labels, but unfortunately they are all sheet types and mine is roll, which does not apply to the method on their tutorials.

Is there a good tutorial on how to print on a thermal label roll?

Hi, ahaWhynot, and welcome to TSG.

Check if the printer manufacturer has a website with a customer support section. You may need to download and install the manufacturer's software to use all of the printer's features.

If you would like more assistance here, it would help if told us the brand and model number of the printer.

The Munbyn Bluetooth printer is for use on an android or iOS device.

Were you told by Munbyn support that the small portable bluetooth printer you purchased can use a roll of labels?
I suspect the roll you bought is for a larger thermal printer.

The photos on the webpage in your link show the printer using fanfold and roll stock labels. An accessory holder to hold roll label stock is also shown.

I believe this may be the user manual for the printer. It indicates that specific software is needed to use the printer.

EDIT: According to the manual, the printer does not have its own label creation and printing software. You need to use another app to create and print the label.

In fact, the printer I bought is not particularly small
Please go to the Munbyn page, find your label printer and post the link so we know exactly what model you are asking for help with.

I'm looking at a pdf of "a printer". It says Logistics printer not Munbyn. It also shows plugging in by USB cable.

It mentions a complimentary USB stick that has drivers and a video.
ahaWhynot, did you get a USB stick with the printer?
