How to insert a quick response button in Gmail

I'm doing a monthly email in Gmail to a group for a meeting. I want to be able to insert at the end of the notice a "quick response" button like this;

I plan to attend.
I can not attend
I will be there.
I would prefer to write the notice in Word and then copy it to Gmail. My predecessor did this somehow but I can't find anywhere how. I want the buttons to come back to my email as a response show what the reply was.
Thanks for the help. I got nothing from the Google community forum.

Hi

I think this may be Smart Reply:

This explains how to turn it on, 3rd option down:

Does that help at all?

Thanks

That's great to hear :)

Or lately they call it AI. Actually hate it when they call so many things AI. For instance, I read a news playbook thingy every morning. You can click to have it read to you and it says 'voiced by AI'. No its not, its a computer program reading exactly what is typed in.

Anyhoo, you can mark this solved. If you're unsure how, I can or Cookie explains here:
