Recently My current phone has been destroyed so I switched to my backup phone (ZTE Android). But the thing with my backup phone is that I forgot everything because it has been 5+ years since I've even looked at it. So I factory reset my phone and all seemed to be going great until I had to sign into google. Google remembered the email that I had previously used on the device. The account has been deleted for 5+ years and I don't know the phone number that was used. Ive tried every way that the phone has given me to recover the email but I've had no luck. Is there any way to get rid of the email on the phone? Or do I just need to go and buy myself a new phone at this point?
Any help at all would be appreciated
Since it's an Android I am guessing it's tied to the account that way. I am not sure since I haven't done this in some time, but check the Settings section for Accounts and see if you can delete it from there.
im unable to because i cant actually get into the phone. I need the verification to even get to the home screen. I don't see any settings option either.
