My wife has a small store about a kilometer or so away with a standalone PC for a cash register. At home I have a LAN with 4 machines and high-speed cable internet. Can I set it up for her PC to dial into the LAN and access the internet for her business email and research? Thanks ...weeG

Have you a static IP on the router.

You could set up remote access over the Internet using port forwarding on the router. What services do you need the remote user to access.
