I have Windows XP Pro, sp 2.

Can you create a shortcut that you can just click, (without entering your browser), to go to a web site? And if you can, how do you do it?

First navigate to the web site then click on 'File' in the top left of your browser. Move your mouse down to 'Send' and select 'Shortcut to Desktop'.

You now have an Icon on the desktop that when double clicked will open the browser and go directly to the web page.
