hello,

noob question here, but i need to upgrade my broadband. i've come to the end of my current contract and need some advise on how to go about it. suggestions please!!

You need to give folk some idea of the country and area, as ISP's are country and region specific in many cases.

Do you actually have a choice? If so, you are most fortunate. Where I am out in the country only the "cable" provider provides broadband, and even then the line doesn't reach me. Tel company "DSL" doesn''t come out this way either.

i live in the suburbs of liverpool, and i have friends close by who have different internet providers, so i know i have a choice. my general wonderment was where i could find what options are available to me and if i could compare them some how. i did find this site, http://www.moneysupermarket.com/broadband/ which lets me do the stuff i want, just wondering what u guys think?? thanks for the help!

"l_m": I had no idea you resided in England when I asked the question. I know from looking at the BBC news site that 'broadband' is considerably more available geographically there than here in the US.
