I open the site when I get to work and then minimize it while I make believe I'm working. Guess which is more fun?

Just courious... I see some people with over 5000 post.. How long has this site been going on? Or how much time a day do ya'll spend here? Me I Love it. Couldnt get me out of here with a pry-bar

To answer both of your questions. I believe this site was created back in 1996 (someone please correct me if I'm wrong... I'm going off the copyright at the bottom of the page). As far as how long I'm on the site per day, it depends on the day (and if work is slow) 2-10 hours a day. To answer the question you are probally asking, YES I am addicted to this site

I'm sneaking on at work today, but don't normally. Apart from this week, as I have had a crap cold, I am here from 10pm - 1am most nights.
Weekends is the most I'm here. I call this place home, though I would love to spend more time here. Still behind in the threads in Software

As you can see from the number of posts sence I got here I don't get to post much. I don't have internet at work(tower at a womans prison). Just think I could post all night long if I had the net there, ooopps maybe that wouldn't be a good idea. The inmates could have their way with the fence line

i've been around awhile and as you can see by my # of posts, i actually try and put some thought into what i put up for others to ponder, well 1 in 10 isn't bad, just do a search for "decoder" and i bet my name is listed somewhere near by
my boss would rather have me drinking here (tavern) than down the street at the local pub, go figure
my co-workers would rather have me talking to the good folks that roam the asylum that is random than talking to them, go figure
the owner would rather have me wasting time here, since when he has a problem, he has many, i come here, if i don't know the answer, and * poof * problem solved, go figure
my wife would rather................never mind

There's still a coupld of us from 2000, and a few of the early heads still around as well.
A few database and site losses early on , before '99 means that all the info and threads from this site were gone.
hewee's post count is wild, but a good portion of those are Random Musings and he is the Random King, as Angelize is its queen!!
You just gotta take a look at Bryan's post to realise that he has only posted about a dozen times in Random threads.
I'm about 50-50 as to where I post.
As with many others, I came here to ask a question, got responses that proved beneficial, and then I started looking around, and noticed that I copuld actually answer some of these questions! It came as a shock to me that I actually knew more about some things than others. Over the last 2 1/2 years, I have learned a great deal, and have done my best to impart as much of that as possible.
This site has definitely become home!! It's where I come first thing in the morning, and usualyy last thing at night.
