can anyone help with showing me how to add some color and functionality to the text in my post's :
remembering that this will be my first time trying this out:

posted in wrong forum sorry !

You can use HTML to add color to your posts. Whenever you need to emphasize a word, you can use a < FONT COLOR = "red" > with a < /FONT > after it. without the spaces, of course

Here are a couple other colors:

Blue
Green
Yellow
Orange

Another thing you can do is work on the signature. It only uses vB code, so once you figure out HTML coding, you can see how the coding for my name was done here:

A N G L I N _ F O O L

Hit the Quote mark to see how I did it and never mind the "size" ones, I was playing with it. The color code is in hexidecimal and you can get those numbers any number of ways.

I stole the colors for my signiture from anglin awhile back... the possiblites for playing with this stuff (and symbols, too :D) are endless... and anglin is the guy to talk to about it. :D
