I've got a computer running NT Server 4.0 which I need to remove and then I plan to install XP Home Ed. I have never actually uninstalled an OS. Can you tell me how?
How do I ununstall NT Server 4.0?

Just pop in the XP cd, reboot the system, and then tell it to install on the drive. It will do a format and then install itself. It's that easy.

NT4 is quite old, are you sure the computer is fast enough to run XP? Ideally you want at least a P2-400 with 256MB of RAM. I couldn't get XP Pro to even boot on a dual PPro200 with 256MB (which runs Win2k Pro fine) which is a pretty typical NT4 Server config.
