I have tge Nokia G300 phone and its my first mobile phone. I can handle somewhat windows, but these phones are another matter that i am not used too.I get constantly harassed by apps begging to be installed as i am trying to make a phone call or log in a site. Then there are launchers fighting to be my default one...it goes on and on. For a while whenever i had to log in a site, the typical keyboard appears, enter the password and etc., but lately the voice type took control. Ever try to enter a password via voice that contains small letters, capital letters and gizmo's. Little research told me to go to settings\language and all i see there is the on/off button not to use profanity. Can someone tell me how i can get my keyboard back, unless u can tell me how to enter such a password as i mentioned above, via Voice type? I do want them both to co-exist...if possible.

I always thought u need wifi all the time. Don't believe the manuals suggested that. I tried that with the cable attached to the computer and do not believe I ever got a box as u depicted...but I will try again. I did get that message about the apk file and this time it did say it was about Phone security. Screenshot was not possibe...i took a pic of the screen but that info was not included...weird, but i wrote down what it said."Remove installed APK file, release space. Clean Apk off? ( First it tells me to remove it and then asks me to clean it off ? ) doesn't make sense to me, and finally the last line said "Modify, delete all files. Wonder why screenshot did not or was not able to include that info?
When you said that you turn off wifi on your phone when your out so as not having the phone searching for hotspots....i don't understand, first, why would the phone be watching for hotspots unless you tell it to do? Also, does phone have a separate wifi or do u mean just turn off completely wifI?

Cell phone have wifi and cell networks. Move your finger down from the top of your phone screen to see settings.
You really need to read the manual to get familiar with your phone.

The first image shows both wifi and cell data ON. (I've obscured my home wifi network name).
The second image shows wifi off and cell data on.
The third shows wifi on and cell data off. (Again I've obscured my home wifi network name.)
A simple tap on any of the items turns each on or off. Blue indicates on and gray off.
You can long press an item and move it to a different location; I've rearranged for an order that suits me.

When wifi is on and there wifi in range, you get available networks. You don't have to tell it to do anything. Tap on the network icon

Thank you again...I did read the manual and it certainly does not go into details like your subscribing here...just the normal routines, this ...does that and etc. BTW, the manual is so small i have to use a magnify glass to read it and you know how tiresome that can be holding a magnify glass in one hand changing pages in the other....again in the good old days, companies didn't skimp on instructions like they do today...manuals on cd's, forums to ask questions and etc. most of these instructions are written by Asians and you know the saying ....it gets lost in translations.

Did you download from the links I gave you? I downloaded 2 items, have them on my computer and I can certainly increase the size on my computer screen. I've attached them here for you to download.

I'm removing them from my computer. You save them to refer to them from time to time.

Yes, i was in the process of reading them and what a relief. It certainly has MORE info than the manual that came with the phone. Thank you so much.
