Hi I need to save and print my text messages from a specific person for a personal record. I am using a Galaxy S21 5G phone. I am using Messages Version 126.96.36.199. Has anyone done this? I would sure appreciate someone walking me through this. I am using Windows 11 on my Lenovo Yoga7i .
The only way I know of unless you have some sort of software like CopyTrans "and I'm not sure with that you can retrieve your texts". I have the latest version of CopyTrans, I basically use it for custom ringtones, etc. and saving pictures to my PC. Your best bet and probably simplest is, just do a screenshot, and email the screenshot to yourself, you should be able to print them at that point.
However the Phone Link app is installed on 10 and 11 by default
Please see my screenshot
As you can see it is also installed on some Samsung phones, I do not know if it is on yours
Basically you follow this Step 1. Run the apps on your Android phone and Windows system simultaneously to allow you to sync the devices. (Follow the instructions as they appear).
Step 2. On the main interface, tap on the Messages link and choose the printouts you want.
Step 3. At the right-side pane, the messages of the Android will appear. Here you can take the screenshot as needed to get them printed.
The way I do it it that I link my cell phone with my computer with Whatsapp and just make a print screen and use paint program and save it there and print if necessary.
Make sure you have whatsapp installed in your W10 or W11 computer.
For phone texts I have not tried it yet.
