I have just recently begun using Photoshop 7.0 and cannot find my solution within Photoshop Help probably because I am unfamiliar with the terminology.

I want to paste an image into another. Like a pic of whatever onto a TV screen. How do I do this?

Drag the layer of what you would like to move into the other document.

as ferrija said the simplest way would be to open both images at the same time. Then just drag the one you want on top of the other (use the move tool- V). It will create a new layer on top of the original picture that will allow you to position exactly where you want.

Or you could select the area of the picture you want (make sure your on the layer that's its on) and copy it. then paste it in the other picture.

I think the first thing, after opening both pics, of course, would be to re-size the first pic, to the appropriate size for the background pic.
