I reformatted my Sony Vaio laptop using the recovery wizard but dUH and forgot I needed drivers. I am going to d/l the drivers to a disk from another computer. What kind of disk do I need to d/l them on to? when I tried to use a 3.5 floppy I got a message saying there was not enough space on it.. it was a clean disk... do I use a cd-rw? i never did this before so can you please be specific on how I go about doing this. many thanks.

Any disk that is large enough and can be read by the computer you need the drivers on is good. A CD-RW is ideal in most cases, but an ordinary CD-R gives you a permanent copy---not a bad idea.

Another option is a USB FLASH drive, I use them like floppies nowadays.

I would assume a recovery with the official disc(s) left you with a fully functioning computer. Why not just download the updated drivers to your hard drive?
