how do i connect my 2 comps?

i have 2 computers and i want to put files on to one from one. but i dont remember how. they are already connected by a router so i think i can. both have win xp. ty for ur time.

Run the networking wizard, as they sound like they may already be networked via the router?

It was you that said they are connected to the router now, which means to me that they are likely already "networked" but not able to share files, just the internet connection.

But if you don't want to run the networking wizard to configure the sharing of files, thats fine.

How do you propose to do it then?
