i dont think so, i think theres somethin special u hafta do first. the whole reason i wanna do it is because i got music on this comp that i wanna transfer to my other one b/c this one doesn't have a sound system at all besides the headphones.

how do i connect my 2 comps?
i have 2 computers and i want to put files on to one from one. but i dont remember how. they are already connected by a router so i think i can. both have win xp. ty for ur time.

ok then how do i do it, i never networked comps before, i just remember the internet cafe that used to be here had all the comps linked. and i figured i could do it cuz of the router. if u make them connect through the wizard then plz give a little bit more description how to do it. sorry if i sounded like an *** didn't mean to.
well i tired what u said but it still didn't work, so i need a step by step way to do it.
no actually didn't but thanks for asking, i dunno why it wouldn't work but it wouldn't.
