I currently have some domains registered with RegisterFly. Also have email hosted with them, but no web hosting.

I want keep domains registered with RegisterFly, but change all hosting to a new host.

I have new nameserver names (ns7.ixhosting.com) and IP (71.18.255.99) and IP addresses for the domains.

Can someone please tell me what records I have to change at RegisterFly to make the change?

(RegisterFly phone support won't answer and refers me to their email. support. Their email support doesn't answer my email:down:)

I've not used that Domain host but if it is like others here's what you do. Log on to your account, go to the part of your account that deals with your domain name registration and there you should find a option to direct your URL to your new host...ns7.ixhosting.com. The language should say something like: Primary Nameserver ______________________ and Secondary Nameserver_____________________ which is where you enter the Primarily Nameserver which I think is ns7.ixhosting.com

Once you do that, you should be able to set up your e-mail account at the new host.

Thanks, I'll give it a try as soon a RegistryFly gets their servers back online. They have been down all day.

So I guess that means the new host has already entered my domain name and IP address into their NameServers. So that would imply that most DNSs will still associate my domain name with the IP address that RegisterFly originally assigned. When the request goes to RegisterFly they must then forward it to the new nameserver. Is that correct?
