Three days ago I printed a document with my hp LaserJet 3330 without a problem. Then for what seemed an eternity (probably 30 seconds) it kept making the clicking noises that a printer makes on start up, or just before it is going to print something. Now there is an error message -- "Door open or no print cartridge" -- and all the doors are shut and there is a printer cartridge. I have opened every door which does not need a screwdriver, vacuumed and air-blowered it. I really need this to be a viable piece of equipment for my business. What else can I do to try to figure this out?

try taking out the cartridge and put it back. it might have stopped sensing it
in place and this will trigger its being sensed again.

there may be switches or sensors that are triggered when cartridge
is in and doors closed that are not being switched now. it is often
to see obstructions but look for dust, crude, paper chunks and
dust, toner chunks or anything which might get in the way.

Thanks for the reply. I went through it all again. I had taken out the cartridge before I blew it out and vacuumed, but did it all again, just in case. Still not working.
