homepage returns to about:blank

Ok, let's see
I am having an issue where my homepage reverts to about:blank even after changing it to something else under tools/internet options.

Checked system with:
Ad-aware (current ref file) - nothing
Spybot (current) - nothing
Bazooka - nothing
Run Trend Micro House Call - nothing
SAV Corp Edition - nothing
CWShredder 1.56.2 - nothing
Hijackthis 1.97.7 - log below

Up to date on all Windows Updates
Still can not figure the problem.

Here is a current log from Hijackthis (Note: I did not fix R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = about:blank on purpose.) Even after removing it, it returns after a reboot.

Run HJT again and check:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = about:blank

Close all applications and browser windows before you click "fix checked".

Reset your home page to whatever you want it to be.
