On booting, Windows displays the "File waiting to be written to CD" message but the folder is empty.
If I attempt to copy a new file to the CD, it casches to the temporary folder but will not write of the CD. Either the "save and retry" message appears or sometimes a "file is wrong size". The file has been identified as CAKTIZWD. I cannot find this file on my computer.
I can read the CD but can not write to it.
I am running Windows XP SP2 on a dell Inspiron 6000 laptop.
The CD is OK. I can burn CD's using Roxio.
I have run Mcafee virus scan and System Mechanic registry cleaner in an attempt to clear the erroneous tag, with no results.
Your assistance is appreciated
