also can't start it in safe mode at all

Please click the link below for your operating system to download the TSG SysInfo Utility. Click on "Save File" then double-click the file to run it. Copy and paste the report in your initial post. Hey, my wife just downloaded and installed a screensaver on her daughters computer, now the pc just keeps rebooting. It has windows xp on it, and has been updated regularly, also has Nortons antivirus 2003 on it and was checked as late as last night, how to get it to boot up normally? Then check it?

Press F8 repeatedly at startup, and when you get to the menu with options, select "last known good configuration" and then it will perform a more lengthy boot, rolling the system files back to (hopefully) a better date without the problem.
finally got it in safe mode, but stopped till i hear from someone.
in safe mode after clicking on user account, a page opened up that says at top, CMD.exe
then-
C:\Documents And Settings\Kelly>
then-
C:\Documents And Settings\Kelly>
I tried to start with last known good configuration, same thing, it only stopped rebooting after finally getting it into safe mode with command prompt.
ok, that was safe mode with command prompt, now I got it in just safe mode.
when i click on start/in safe mode, it all starts again.
