Help with my Lenovo flex 5

1080 Views 10 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  TomJ7854
Hi, i recently bought the Lenovo ideapad flex 5 14ARE05, and i have a few questions.
First, the laptop comes with 256gb ssd and i would like more. Does this laptop have another ssd slot or even an hdd slot or do i have to replace my current ssd with a bigger one.
Second, i am looking for a portable charger for this laptop, the charger the laptop comes with says 65 watt. Does the portable charger i need to get also need to be able to give 65 watt or can i get something smaller (if so how much watt)?
Third, this laptop comes with a usb-c slot and that is how it gets charged, can this usb-c be connected to an adapter and plug in usb's, hdmi's, ect. or can it only be used for charging?
Thanks

Charger information: Volts must match
Amps and Watts can be the same or higher; don't go lower.
Apparently it also has a barrel type charger as well as a USB-C charger.

I'm not surprised because Lenovo lists 9 US models on its site for Ideapad Flex 5 14ARE05 so perhaps people are getting a different model.

Is there a way to find out if my laptop has additional slots for ssd or hdd? i would rather ssd/hdd add then replace my ssd with something bigger.
Thanks

mine is the 81X20005US
Looks like you will have to replace the SSD, the specs dont list that there are an extra connector. Just stop downloading movies :}
i found this portable charger https://www.amazon.com/19200mAh-Por...portable+laptop+charger&qid=1595022474&sr=8-8
will this work for my laptop and does anyone know of any other 65 watt portable laptop chargers that have more then 20000mAh for a similar price (around 50$)
Thanks :)

That's not a charger it's a 'powerbank' which is just a battery you have to charge, then you can charge the laptop's battery with it but it will run out of power at some point, unlike a real charger which you plug into a power socket.
Laptops don't have portable chargers. You can charge a laptop in 2 ways: connect the charging cable (USB-C on one end and regular USB on the other) to a wall plug similar to this
Automotive lighting Communication Device Gadget Font Electronic device

(You should have gotten a wall plug with the laptop)

or connect it to a USB port on a computer.

If you look at my link in my previous post it mentions the device can provide output voltages which would charge a laptop.
