I just got one of these and was trying to configure it.

On the WAN-Dial-Up page, the Auto-Reconnect is NOT checked. Yet, it will dial the connection whenever I disconnect it manually, or turn off the modem.

How do I stop this? I just thought of this - Or is it because I have not actually shut down my browser on all pc's? Only minimized them. I think I will try that.

If anybody has anything to add, please do.

I'm not familiar with the modem, but the setting that is common that you want to uncheck is something like, "automatically dial when someone tries to access the internet." Chances are your many programs on your computer constantly try to access the internet, such as antivirus programs looking for updates.
