My computer will not shut down and it takes a long time to start up I don't know if it has anything to do with this adware but it is the only thing that I see. I have a program called pest control that found this adware and pest patrol says that this file is in my registry but it won't delete it so i have tried several times to delete it but it keeps coming back I also get a lot of popups and i think i fixed the problem of something or someone putting unwanted programs in my computer but i am not sure could you please look at this long and tell me what i should do next. I am unable to delete 2 files the first one is in my registry
HKEY_LOCALMACHINE\Software\microsoft\windows nt\current version\winlogon\notify\guardian
the other one which is not in my registry which now is giving me an error that says unable to load and the file name C:\Windows\System32\msg121.cpy.dll

It is almost certainly malware, likely configured to start as a "service". To show the services, open HijackThis and select:

Config > Misc Tools, put a check in "also list minor sections" then select "Generate Startuplist" and copy/paste the results of that here.

Also in the Scanlog I would check and "fix" this non standard entry:

I deleted that file F2-REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\WINDOWS\System32\Userinit.exe
and my computer would not startup right i was getting a screen to log on and when i logged on it automatically logged me off

I assume you just used HijackThis to remove the registry entry and not the file itself. It is used to pre run a service or file before the Windows shell loads. It is not normally found in Scanlogs. But if removing it has caused a problem you can restore it by opening HijackThis and selecting Config > Backups. It will be found there.

autoupdt: "C:\WINDOWS\autoupdt.exe" (autostart)

This entry in the Startuplist indicates that this autoupdt file is configured as a service. You should set it to disabled. To do this go to Administrative Tools > Services and look for the entry that says:

autoupdt

Double click it to view the properties dialog and set it to disabled. Reboot and see if the shutdown problem remains after the reboot.

To avoid a hang on the restart you can also stop the service or terminate it through the Task Manager before restarting.
