Has anyone got any ideas how to get rid of these annoying ads, which pop up and interrupt the viewing on Youtube.
I have a Google Chrome Cast device. I installed the youtube app, but don't know if it was the right one for an Android TV, it works but its those pesky ads which keep on popping up for 5sec and longer, are driving me insane, so to aviod me from crack up altogether I would appreciate your help in keeping me sane.
I need an Ad-Blocker which will block them for good or at least until the video is finished.

Much Appreciated

You Tube has since June 23 had a strict policy against the use of ad blockers
This has since then been strengthened and if you are detected using one and still do after a warning then there is a chance they MAY BLOCK you from streaming videos
Allow ads on videos that you watch - YouTube Help (google.com)

Ads on YouTube help support the creators you love and let billions of people around the world use the streaming service. When you block YouTube ads, you violate YouTube’s Terms of Service. If you use ad blockers, we’ll ask you to allow ads on YouTube or sign up for YouTube Premium. If you continue to use ad blockers, we may block your video playback.
There are ways around it - some very complicated - many very questionable in what it is you are acquiring besides the suggested successful ad block
and some that you will find - are dated before YouTube had the current ability to detect the use of the ad blocker.

I will not be suggesting the ways to avoid the ads.

IMHO if you use a free service like YouTube - you accept the terms and conditions.

Finally if you are at this stage
its those pesky ads which keep on popping up for 5sec and longer, are driving me insane, so to aviod me from crack up altogether I would appreciate your help in keeping me sane.
then as my colleague has said
Pay for YouTube Premium

and as on the link I sent
YouTube Premium individual memberships - Android - YouTube Help (google.com)

It's been our policy not to provide help to get around any restrictions or Terms of Use on websites and this is one example therefore this is not something that we will assist with and I'm closing the thread. The only means to view videos without ads that we can discuss have already been mentioned.
