I have been reading about the "essential startup items" and there is the two (2) load power profiles, scanregistry and systray...I DO NOT HAVE A SYSTRAY ITEM! What does this mean? Did I screw up...again? Plus, my computer losses its internet access ability, I have SBC-Yahoo DSL, and it just losses its connection. We have had it for over a year now, but this is the first time this has happened. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

SYSTRAY is the bottom right corner where the other icons hang out.

And what do you mean about lost of connection? Do you mean you cannot connect or does the connection drop?

I have connection one minute, then I cannot get on Internet Explorer again...but I am still capable of IMing people, so the connection is still there...???

It's possible that you might have a virus or trojan. Are you familiar with SPYBOT S&D, LAVASOFT AD-AWARE, CWSHREDDER and HIGHJACKTHIS?
