all of a sudden one of my programs keeps going to the left of my screen, this is the only one, i need help....
it shows in the task menu icon but when i click it i cant see it, its off screen to the left.how can i fix

By task menu icon you mean a quick launch icon? Try right clicking on the icon and properties then shortcut and next to run: set it to Maximized.

only have show/hide and about in the quick launch bit, this was all fine a few days ago.
I dont understand, do you have any more ideas?

Only have show/hide? Then it’s not a shortcut. What application is it?

no its not a shortcut, its an application used to scan my computer for all active ports and see all activaty. It has worked great but all of a sudden it starts to go to the left off so i cant click it or see it.
It normally starts up in the middle of the screen when i click it.

Try this: Click start run and type regedit and traverse to;

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

Delete Window _ Placement and close regedit.

Now try and run the app.

The application is still loading all the way to the left where I cant see it at all. Any other suggestions?

“O” I’m sorry! Window _ Placement was for IE. What is you’re screen resolution at? if its 800X600 try setting it to 1024X768

I have tried all of them as thats what my first idea was 1024

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app? That’s all I can suggest. Hopefully someone ells can help.

i have ran a full virus system scan, uninstalled the application and re-downloaded it and installed it, still the same,
I get 3 apps with this program and this is the only one doing this.

have you tried restoring your system to a time before this started happening?
