I have Windows XP and when I try to access the properties on my dial-up connection to turn off firewall it will not work. It just won't come up. The picture for my modem which are two computers connected by a cable has no color. while my others do, but I still use that modem to connect to the internet.

Can someone help me turn off firewall plz?

I would suggest going to start > settings > control pannel > network settings

When the window pops up, right click, NOTE RIGHT CLICK on your dial up networking Icon, drag down to properties,
Click,

Once that window opens up. click the advanced tab, usuall the farthest to the right.
A window will open again. an option to enable or disable a personal firewall option will be available.
