i have windows xp home edition.my computer freezes up and makes a short beeping noise then goes to a blue screen that says..inpage kernel error..then says beginning physical dump of memory...then it just restarts itself...someone please tell me what i can do...

Most likely a serious hardware error/failure.

Could be the Hard Drive or one of several other components. The only quick way to determine it is by substitution. If you do not have a range of spare parts, it's best to take it to the experts.

When something is wrong with your computer BIOS it will make the "short beeping noise" you mentioned in your post.
