Help!! I cant log into pretty much anything...

Hi I'm running winxp pro, just recently i cleared out my cache and temp files and now i cant seem to log into msn explorer or hotmail. I can get into ICQ Some sites i get the "Page cannot be displayed" and when i go into voice chat or any chat i get "You current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page" . Im not sure if I've deleted something i shouldnt have or my security setting's wrong.

Can somebody help me out please, its so bloody annoying!!
