Hi! I have been having major problems with my computer running extremely slow, slow startup, hangup, etc. Can someone look at my HJ Log below and let me know what I can do to fix it. I have run Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D, Spyware Blaster, CWShredder and Norton Systemworks.
Thanks so much!

Happy birthday! :)

I don't see anything that could be causing the slow down. Though that log is not the normal view that I look at so it's kinda hard to see. :)

Have you tried using your cleaning tools (Disc Cleanup, De-Fragmenter etc).

Also you might want to check your startup list and uncheck all of the unecessary programs that you don't need to start, like for example Java, Real and QuickTime

Hi and thanks for the Birthday greeting and for posting a response!

You said that I should uncheck some of my Statups like Real, Jusched, etc. The problem is I am not sure where to do that.

Any help or steps on how to disable startup programs would be much appreciated. Thanks!

go to Start > Run. Type msconfig and OK. You will get the System Utility. There is a Start Up tab. Click that and then uncheck all the unecessary programs. Only do the ones you know. Some of them you do need but like I said, things like Winamp, Real, Java, QuickTime etc are not necessary
