Yes, yes. I know about portforward.com.

I have a DSL connection. I'm using an Actiontec modem, and a Linksys WRT54G router.

I'm trying to forward port 10000 (both UPD and TCP protocols) for utorrent in the router's console, but it's not working.

I use Windows Firewall, and, yes, I made the exceptions, but unfortunately I still can't get it to work.

Please help...

PS: Yeah, I did set up a static IP in Network Connections.

Did you check that the correct port number, (same as the port you forwarded in the router), is being used in Utorrent?

To check, open up Utorrent.

Click Options in the menu at the top of your screen.

In the list that drops down click Preferences.

Click Network Options on the left hand side of the Utorrent program.

Make sure the Enable UPnP box is unchecked.

Make sure the number in the Port Used for Incoming Connections box contains the port you need to forward.

Thing is, I used to be able to forward ports on my old modem/router, but last night that broke.

I bought the new Actiontec modem and Linksys router today, and I can no longer forward ports for one reason or another. As you can see, I've gone through pretty much all the configs, but to no avail.

On the box, it says model number: WRT54G. Nothing after that.

Firmware version:

v1.00.9, May. 12, 2006
