I have windows xp with a km266 that apparently needs a bios flash to support xp 2400+? Anyway I followed the directions they had on their site and no luck. I have the bios I need and the program. I need a boot up disk? How do I make one. Also I brought this computer from emachines and they don't allow you to change frequency or multi in cmos if I flash the chip do I have to worry it will go to 100 mhz front with no way to change it? :( :( :( :(

Hello! IMO, I think you're beating a dead horse with that motherboard and only 100 FSB. At any rate, the older boards, you downloaded the flash and utility to a floppy disk. Followed the instructions, booted with the new floppy, which started the Flash Utility, choose the flash file and hit ENTER. (Hope and pray that the power stayed on. :D Are you sure you read the manufacture's instructions? Sometimes they can be missed.
