I just bought a new DVD RW Drive and installed it myself. I have a basic question. Can DVD+RW Discs be made into discs that would be viewable as a DVD either on a computer or DVD player? I'm trying to burn a DVD project made in SonicFoundry's DVD Architect to a +RW and it really doesn't seem to want to work. I haven't tried any regular DVD+/-R's yet cause I don't have any.

You have to be sure that your DVD player and recorder supports DVD+RW disks; not all do. My Toshiba stand alone DVD player does not recognise + media but works fine with - media.

Or is the the burn process that is failing? Is the disc readable in your computer? Also what is going on this disc? Music, Video, or Photos and in what format?

My drive is a dual format drive so the media shouldn't be a problem. Also, I have just tried to burn a DVD in Roxio straight from my DV camcorder and it worked. Sooooo..... I'm thinking that maybe my DVD RW drive isn't supported by SonicFoundry (Sony, now apparently) and this program. The process tries to start then just hangs up in the middle of the burn phase.
