Im new to this and know nothing about computers my son has a Dell 2400 windows xp computer when he starts it up it seems to be normal but then it goes to a blue screen and says windows could not load he has tried to reinstall windows but nothing please someone help he uses this for school work any help would be greatly appreciated

Does the blue screen produce an error code within it? Please post the error.

Explain "we tried to install windows xp". Did you try to install anew or repair using the xp cd or hidden partition?

Please list your computer specs, (processor, ram, graphics, make + model. Was the computer functioning properly up until this problem. The more info you give us, the better we may be able to help.
