HDMI connectors do not use retaining screws. Please tell us exactly what kind of connectors are being tested. If you are not sure, please give us a photo of the entire back of the computer and also a close-up of the video connector area.We tried different hdmi ports on the computer (i.e. the regular one and the one with screws on each side) and both did not work.
here is everything you requested! The computer lights up and everything and does everything it did when it started up with a working monitor, but again, it just doesn't connect to it anymore. Let me know if you need anything else. Please tell us the brands and the full and exact model numbers of the computer and the monitor.

EDIT:
Does the computer show any indications that it is otherwise powering up normally and launching Windows 10?
Yes, my girlfriend moved it up from the floor to the top of her desk, so that's likely what caused it. the RAM may have been already in a weird spot beforehand though, and the move might've enhanced it.Glad you were able to work it out. Was the computer moved or had work done inside of it right before the problem occurred?
